Seasonal Transitions in Ayurveda

– A Wonderful Guide for Your Body 🍂

Hi loves,

It’s been 3 months and finally I am able to send you a newsletter! ❤️

Loves, if someone had told me that I would be exploring Ayurveda in my 40s and finding my way back to health and recovery, I probably wouldn’t have believed it. It has been a long way, but I am happy to share that yoga and Ayurveda have become important parts of my healing journey.

It’s autumn in Germany, such a beautiful transition. The colours, the soft light, before we enter the darker months of the year.

So how can Ayurveda help us during seasonal transitions?

🍂 1. Agni – Your digestive fire

As the weather changes, Ayurveda recommends paying attention to your digestion. I love warm, freshly cooked food during this time – soups with nice soft veggies, stews, and nourishing rice dishes. I even Google ingredients to find out whether they are considered easy to digest in Ayurveda. 😅

🍂 2. Vata – Finding balance

Autumn is traditionally associated with Vata: movement, dryness, and change. Warm food, regular routines, gentle yoga, and enough rest can help us feel more grounded.

🍂 3. Dinacharya – Your daily routine

Small things make a difference: a regular sleep schedule, a little oil massage (Abhyanga), meditation, or simply taking time for yourself.

🍂 4. Time to let go

Ayurveda also teaches us to adapt to the seasons. And honestly, I think this is a beautiful reminder for life in general. What patterns are we holding on to? What can we release? We don’t have to carry everything into the next season.

Of course, Ayurveda is a huge topic (loves, remember, it’s a traditional system of health and approved science). I love reading and exploring, and yes, I also believe in science. One good thing about my ADHD is that I am incredibly curious – although sometimes I get lost in all the information, haha!

✨ What’s next?

I really want to start teaching again, and I am slowly working towards it. An Instagram Live with a little yoga, Ayurveda, and online sound healing is on my list. And I will definitely organise a day retreat in Berlin. Jipii! 🌞

… and you will get more information on Ayurveda, I will write blogs regularly : my next topics is the menstrual flow of the women’s body. I tested and checked it for you- just amazing what Ayurveda does with our women’s bodies.

Let’s see when and how it unfolds. One step at a time.

P.S. With this newsletter, I’ve also included the recipe for my favourite dish: Ayurveda’s Creamy Broccoli & Quinoa Soup. 🌿💚

Sending you lots of love,
Isabella ❤
